Montfort Vidyasagar C.B.S.E. School is situated on the Krishnarajasagara Road, about 14 km from the ancient city of Mysore. It was opened on 1st June 2005, in Belagola. The school in the past 13 years has persistently worked towards the spread of knowledge and has been successfully imparting holistic knowledge to the children.

On 1st June 2005, Bro. Joy Thecknath started the school with just 6 children.

5th September 2005 to 2007: Bro. Joseph Thomas worked for the enhancement of the intellectual, moral, social, emotional, physical and spiritual aspects of the children. He laid the stress on inter-house competitions, annual sports meet, annual day celebration, training programme for teachers, etc. During this period, construction of the primary school building was almost completed.

2007 to 2008: Bro. K.A. Paul took over charge as Local Superior and Sr. Lissa Thomas became the Principal.

2008 to 2011: Bro. Joy Theckanath improved the facilities, added class rooms and the School got NOC for the affiliation.

2011 to 2015: Bro. Francis Xavier got the CBSE affiliation and started smart classes.

2015 to 2020: Bro. M.K. Joseph did the tar-topping of the road. He regularly monitored students’ performance, guided & motivated all to proceed ahead.

2020 to 2022: Bro Vijay Sebastian improved academic performance.

2022 to 2025: Bro Alban Raj continued to improve the institution.

2025: Bro Niju Thomas continues the mission.
